We don&#039;t do Shout to the Lord at church any more, but one of the most intense moments of my life involves that song. In 2000, my wife and I went to Karaganda, Khazakstan to adopt our daughter, Katya. We hooked up with a local church, and even though we couldn&#039;t understand the russian teaching, we knew some of the songs. Our first time there, we stood in the LENIN THEATRE, surrounded by God&#039;s people in a strange land and they were singing Shout to the Lord! We were so homesick, we just melted.
